Fast, expert-validated penetration testing for growing organizations.

Cyberattacks don't wait for a procurement cycle, and neither should your security testing. MEC's Network Penetration Testing service gives smaller organizations the same caliber of assessment used by large enterprises — without the lengthy vendor selection process, RFPs, or multi-week sales cycles.

This package is built on MEC vPenTest, our automated penetration testing platform powered by MEC's Private Cloud 360. It combines the speed and consistency of automation with hands-on validation from MEC's certified security professionals, so you get real exploitation testing — not just a vulnerability scan.

What's Included in This Package

Internal Network Penetration Test — Up to 254 internal IP addresses. A simulated attacker perspective from inside your network, uncovering patching gaps, misconfigurations, weak authentication, and lateral movement paths.
External Network Penetration Test — Up to 6 external IP addresses. A simulated attack from the public internet against your perimeter, identifying exposed services, exploitable vulnerabilities, and internet-facing weaknesses.
Expert-Validated Results — Findings are reviewed and prioritized by MEC's security team so you're not chasing false positives.
Executive Summary Report — A clear, non-technical overview for leadership and stakeholders.
Technical Report & Vulnerability Details — Findings mapped to risk level, with root cause and evidence of exploitation.
Remediation Guidance — Practical, prioritized next steps your team or MEC can act on immediately.
Compliance-Ready Documentation — Documentation aligned to frameworks such as SOC 1, SOC 2, CMMC, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, PCI DSS, FERPA, and FedRAMP.

Who This Is For

Small and mid-sized organizations that need a legitimate, compliance-ready penetration test — for cyber insurance, a client requirement, an audit, or peace of mind — without the overhead of a formal procurement process.

If your environment is larger than 126 internal or 5 external IPs, contact us for a custom quote.

How It Works — Next Steps After Purchase

Purchase Online — Check out directly through this listing.
Complete Your Environment Intake Form — After purchase, you'll receive a short online form to provide network details, IP ranges and scope, points of contact, and logistics needed to plan your test.
Kickoff Call with an MEC Security SME — A dedicated subject matter expert will review your intake form, confirm scope and testing windows, and coordinate any access requirements, such as an internal test device, external targets, and rules of engagement.
Testing Is Conducted — Our team executes the internal and external assessments, validates findings, and prepares your reporting package.
Reports Delivered — You'll receive your Executive Summary, Technical Report, and remediation guidance.
Optional SME Readout Call — Walk through the findings with our team and get your questions answered directly.
Internal PenTest ***IMPORTANT*** Internal testing requires our vPenTest agent to be deployed within your network beforehand, either via a physical appliance we provide or a Linux (preferably Ubuntu) VM your team helps us set up. The virtual appliance can be setup on hypervisors like VMware ESXi, and Microsoft Hyper-V. This deployment must be completed before testing can begin.

Typical Timeline

Most engagements are completed in 2–4 weeks from kickoff, depending on your environment's size, available documentation, and how quickly access and coordination are provided. Our team will confirm an estimated timeline during your kickoff call.
